The Need Continues
In today's challenging economic climate, demand on our food pantry services remains very high:
- In 2009 we served 14,849 families at our pantry site - 3,175 more than in 2008, a 27.2% increase!
- In 2009 we registered 1,233 new families as clients - 361 more than in 2007, a 41.4% increase!
- We distributed 702,000 pounds of food in 2009.
Donations of canned vegetables, soup, fruit, and tuna are needed and are always appreciated, especially during the upcoming holiday season. Monetary donations are also appreciated. We hope you keep the Food Pantry on your giving list. Click here to donate online.
