Program Information
Our CBS-I food pantry is located at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 1937 S. 50th Avenue in Cicero. The church is on the northeast corner of 50th Avenue and 21st Street. We are open Tuesdays from 2:00 - 5:30 P.M. Our phone number is (708) 863-4913.
The CBS-II food pantry, located at St. Mary of Celle in Berwyn, is temporarily closed for renovations.
How our program works:
- Clients may use the Food Pantry every two weeks for a period of six months, or 13 times per year.
- Clients must be a resident of Cicero, Berwyn, Stickney, or Forest View.
- Clients may use either food pantry site: CBS-I (or CBS-II when re-opened).
In order to obtain food, clients need to bring:
- Photo identification
- Proof of income (paycheck stub, unemployment stub, food stamp card)
- Proof of residency (rent receipt, utility bills, official letter)
- Proof of dependents (birth certificates, recent school report cards)
The locations and hours of operation are subject to change. Pantries close for major holidays. Please call for the latest information.
